They say those who can’t, teach. And they could not be more wrong. This saying has haunted teachers for far too long. It’s time for us to take it back, turn it into a positive, and use it as something we can all rally around. It’s time for all of us to honor the importance of teachers — and teachers, it’s time for you to own your impact on students, Texas communities, and beyond.

In the past two years, #TeachersCan partnered with DonorsChoose to fulfill teacher and classroom needs across Texas. Through organizational match donations and contributions from Texans like you, we raised a total of $3.1 million! We were able to fully fund thousands of classroom projects and hundreds of thousands of student learning experiences led by thousands teachers in public schools across the state.
