Since 2021, #TeachersCan partners have joined together to support teachers across Texas through a partnership with DonorsChoose. To date, these partners and generous Texans have contributed more than $3.1 million to fund thousands of teacher requests for classroom projects and supplies. Whether you are a teacher, a leader of a business or organization, or an individual, we have opportunities for you to get involved.

Funding for this year’s DonorsChoose campaign will start being distributed shortly after school starts again. Be sure to register your classroom wish list at DonorsChoose.org/Teachers for the #TeachersCan matching campaign!
How does it work?
- Teachers add their wish lists at DonorsChoose.org/Teachers
- Donors search for topics, teachers, schools, or regions to support
- Individual donors contribute to fund specific projects
- #TeachersCan partners match donations to double the impact
Business and organizational leaders, become a match donor!
Every company or organization that contributes $25k or more gets a personal DonorsChoose fundraising landing page, where donors can find a project eligible for a match donation from you. You can see teacher requests being funded throughout the campaign, and you will receive a campaign impact report once the funds are fully distributed. #TeachersCan will promote your campaign through social media and on our website.

Texans, support Texas teachers and double your impact!
Starting in September, you can search for teacher requests on the DonorsChoose website that are eligible for a match donation from one of our partners. When you make a contribution to help fund one of those projects, your donation will be doubled through the match.
