2. Upload your classroom requests to DonorsChoose
Every year, #TeachersCan recruits partners for match campaigns that double the impact of Texan donations to eligible projects. Since 2021, #TeachersCan and its partners have raised more than $3 million for teacher classroom and project requests. Be sure to upload your list to DonorsChoose during the summer so we can help get your requests funded in the fall!
3. Share your story
Why did you become a teacher? Why do you continue to teach? What do you wish others knew about the teaching profession? Are there particular moments from your teaching career that stand out and keep you inspired to prepare the future?
Upload and share a story, image, and/or video to your social media presences and be sure to tag @TxTeachersCan and use the hashtag #TeachersCan.
