World Teachers’ Day – October 5, 2020

The theme for this year’s World Teachers’ Day, a global celebration held annually on October 5 since 1994, is “Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future.” This theme encapsulates both the extreme challenges teachers are facing in the COVID-19 era and how they are responding to the call and continuing to meet the needs of all students. #TeachersCan is joining the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and organizations all around the world to celebrate World Teachers’ Day.

Both teachers and supporters of teachers can participate in the celebration of World Teachers’ Day. See below for all the ways to show your support.
